With a twinkle in his eye and an eternally mischievous grin, Joseph Michael Tourville, fondly known as Joe, embarked on his final journey on May 16, 2024. Born on December 28, 1960, in Marlborough, MA, he graced the world with his charismatic presence for 63 unforgettable years. To say Joseph was a dedicated line mechanic would be like saying Superman was 'pretty good at flying'. Joe worked for the Pepsi Cola Corporation, and although he was only there for two years, he had already started to put his own personal brand of fizzy fun into the machines.
Joe was not just a talented mechanic, he was a master of his craft. If there was a Mount Rushmore for mechanics, he’d be on it with a wrench in one hand and a Pepsi in the other. His achievements in design and building were recognized by numerous awards. But Joe was not just all about axles and engines. This smart and adventurous soul loved to travel, hike, and explore. He was as comfortable on a hiking trail as he was under the hood of a car. The world was his garage and he was determined to fix it, one adventure at a time.
On top of all this, Joseph had a heart as big as his toolbox. He was always ready to lend a hand, tell a joke or do whatever he could to make his family and friends happy. His memory is carried on by his son, Adam Knowlton, grandkids Jaime, Chance, Shawn, and Bretton Knowlton, and stepson Chris Baxter. He now joins his parents Joseph Tourville and Annette Dufault on an adventure in the great beyond.
As we remember Joe, let us be guided by the words from the Book of Proverbs(14:21), "Whoever despises his neighbor is a sinner, but blessed is he who is generous to the poor", a verse that echoes Joe’s generous nature. We invite you to share your stories, laughter, and pictures of Joe on his memorial page at www.mackfamilyfh.com.. Let's remember him not with sorrow but with the joy and laughter he brought to our lives.
