Josephine J. Mitchell

GARDNER - Josephine J. Mitchell, 90, of Gardner, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester, NH. She was born May 3, 1926 in Gardner, the daughter of the late John and the late Blanche (Giencewski) Jurgelewicz. Josephine grew up in Gardner and was a life-long resident until moving to Manchester, NH to be near her daughter Sandra. She was employed at GEM Industries for 25 years and also worked for Kelly Brothers for 15 years. Josephine was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality. She was a member of the Gardner Golden Age Club. She leaves one daughter, Sandra T. Buckley of Hooksett, NH; one brother, Felix Jurgelewicz of Gardner; two grandchildren, Lisa Moreira; Michael Buckley; one great grandson, Julien Moreira and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John K. Mitchell, by three brothers, Anthony Jurgelewicz, Benjamin Jergelewicz, John Jurgelewicz; and by two sisters, Evelyn Jurgelewicz, and Regina O'Connell.
