Joyce Couture

GARDNER - Joyce Couture, 69 of 47 Lake Street, Gardner, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 in the Heywood Hospital, Gardner. She was born in Greenfield, on September 10, 1942, the daughter of the late Merle Franklin and the late Ina (Lukala) DuVerger. She grew up in Gardner and attended Gardner High School.  She was a member of the Gardner American Legion Post No. 129.  She enjoyed reading. She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband’s security company for many years. She leaves her husband, Ferdinand Couture; one daughter, Andrea (Kamman) Hutton of Imperial, CA; one sister, Paula Ball of Antlers, OK; one brother, Arthur E. DuVerger of Flanagan, IL;  one niece, Vicky Lynn Smith of Sheridan, WY; four nephews, Scott Keith DuVerger of Sebastian, FL, Gregory Braun of Gardner, Barry Taylor of Antlers, OK, Neil Taylor of Antlers, OK. She was predeceased by her twin sister, June Braun. Funeral services and burial will be private.  There are no calling hours.
