Joyce T. Shelton

ATHOL - Joyce Shelton, 60 of 224 South St., Athol, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 in St. Vincent´s Hospital, Worcester, MA. She was born in Mineville, N.Y., on January 3, 1947, the daughter of Fremont J. and Rita I. (Smith) LaFountain. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Bobbie Gene Shelton Sr. who died in 2006, her father Fremont LaFountain who died in 1983 and her brother Allen LaFountain who died in 1982. She leaves her three sisters: Evelyn Conkey, Gail Bastine, and Rebecca LaFountain all of Athol; and eight brothers: Leonard LaFountain, Gary LaFountain, Lawrence LaFountain, Norman LaFountain, Elton LaFountain, Earl LaFountain, and Dennis LaFountain all of Athol; and Steven LaFountain of VA.; four Step Sons, Bobbie Gene Shelton Jr. & Troy Shelton of Bridgecity, TX; Shon Shelton of Longview, TX; & Chad Shelton of Houston, TX. Joyce also leaves behind her dear friend Jack Eubanks of Orange, TX. She enjyed listening to Country Music and playing Bingo, Yahtzee, Pitch.
