BALDWINVILLE - Judith W. (Binnall) Rose, 69 of 732 Baldwinville Rd., Baldwinville, died Monday, April 14, 2014 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester.
She was born in Gardner, on April 4, 1945, the daughter of the late Richard J. and the late Blanche (Packard) Binnall.
She grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School with the class of 1963. She attended the LPN program at East Gardner. Judith worked for Gardner State Hospital and Rutland Heights Hospital. During her time at Rutland Heights she attended the first RN program at Mount Wachusett Community College, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
She went on to work as the Director of Nursing at Wachusett Manor for 15 years, and along with her husband Bob, owned and operated Toy Town Liquors for 15 years. She most recently worked at Broadview Assisted Living as the Director of Resident Care.
She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church and a member of the Massachusetts Nursing Association. She enjoyed reading, gardening and she loved her family and grandchildren.
She leaves her husband of 39 years: Robert C. Rose Jr.; two sons: Richard R. Rose and his wife Jennifer of Gardner, Martin J. Rose and his wife Michelle of Winchendon; two step-sons: Brent D. Rose of Shrewsbury, Timothy M. Rose of Harwichport; two sisters: Cynthia Gagliastre of Worcester, Lois Fontaine of Fitchburg; eleven grandchildren: Elizabeth Rose, Rachael Rose, Dylan Rose, Carlye Rose, William Rose, Caleb Rose, Adam Rose, Macy Rose, Amy Hawkins, Jaelyn Hawkins, Kailyn Hawkins.
She was predeceased by a daughter Jennifer Rose and a brother Richard N. Binnall.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11:00 am in the St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1 Forest St., Baldwinville. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday April 15, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Mack funeral Home, 91 Vernon St., Gardner, MA.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Judith Binnall Rose Nursing Scholarship Fund, C/O Community Foundation, 649 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
