Julianne Marcotte

ORANGE- Julianne "Julie" Marcotte, 85 passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 16, 2022, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Athol, on September 19, 1937. She attended Athol Schools. She worked in many retail stores; Grants Department Store, 5 + Dime, and Giant Store before going to L.S. Starretts and retiring as a supervisor.

She loved going to casinos, playing bingo, and making puzzles.

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Robert Marcotte, and a grandson, John Blake.

Julie leaves a son, Robert Marcotte, Jr, and wife Kathy of Athol; a daughter, Susan Blake and husband Dennis of Orange; a daughter, Nancy Marcotte of Greenfield; a son, Mark Marcotte and wife Rhonda of Midlothian, VA; a sister, Mary Alice Alizine Taylor of Leominster; grandchildren, Jessica Archambault, Nicole Blake, Kimberly Wheeler of Orange, Merrisa Ward and Deanna Marcotte of Danville, VA; great-grandchildren, Colby Archambault, Chloe Archambault, Andrew Blake, Jordyn Blake, Nicholas Blake, Taylor Dahlstrom, Irissa Mitchell, Nathan Mitchell, Audrey Blake, Hailey Graham, Joey Ward, Natalie Ward and Austin Stewart; great-great-grandchildren, Peyton Mitchell and Eric Tresider; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private.
