LEOMINSTER - Katherine W. (Wright) Lewis, 77 of 44 Keystone Drive, Leominster, and formerly of Athol, died Sunday, May 3, 2009 in the Keystone Center in Leominster. She was born in Athol on May 17, 1931, the daughter of the late Henry and the late Evelyn (Wade) Wright. Mrs. Lewis grew up in Athol and attended local schools. She worked as a machinist for the former Dual Plastics Company and the former N.D. Cass Toy Company in Athol for several years. M rs. Lewis was a homemaker for several years, and was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in South Athol. She was considered a very religious and spiritual woman, and was a former member of the Assembly of God Church in Orange and the Starrett Memorial United Methodist Church. She leaves one daughter, Kathleen J. Perez and her husband Bruce of Wheelwright, MA; one son, Andrew C. Lewis and his fiancee Barbara of Athol; one sister, Bertha Donnelly of Springfield; six grandchildren, Amy Walker of Greenfield, Tracy Verma of Woburn, Mathew Lewis of Turners Falls, Sarah Bates of Springfield, Kristopher Perez of Wheelwright, Heidi Perez of Wilbraham; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Donald W. Lewis who died on October 28, 2007; by her two sons, Joseph P. Duguay, who died in 1975, Dennis W. Lewis, who died on September 29, 1992; and by her three brothers, Anton Wright, Charles Wright, and John Wright. Graveside services in Silver Lake Cemetery will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210. $(document).ready(function(){ });
