Katherine Anne (O'Hara) Raulston

Katherine A. Raulston Orange – Katherine Anne (O’Hara) Raulston, 59, of Orange, died Saturday, January 23, 2013 after a long illness.      Katherine was born in Greenfield, Massachusetts, May 4, 1953, the daughter of Richard S. and Anne O’Hara.  The family lived in Ohio for many years, returning to Massachusetts several years ago.        Kathy was very skilled at crafts, made many lovely items which she gave to family members and friends as gifts.  She also loved spending time on Cape Cod with her family, spending many vacations there.  She loved to crochet, cross stitch and recently enjoyed fishing.         She leaves her son Garrett Raulston; her loving caregivers, Heidi Saviski, Holly, Diane and Harold Matthews; her stepmother, Vurla O’Hara; two step brothers, Scott and Robert Bevis and three grandchildren, Justin, Nicholas & Monique.  She was predeceased by her husband of 23 years, John H. Raulston who died Feb. 6, 2011; both of her parents and two step brothers, Steven and Randy Bevis.      There will be a service of remembrance on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol with the Rev.
