It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Kathy R. Jackson, Loving Mother, Nani, Sister, and Friend, on Saturday, December 14, at her home.
Kathy grew up in Hartland VT. Daughter of the late Dorothy (Hood) Hull and Guy Hull.
She leaves behind her beloved son David Jackson and his wife Missi of Northfield, her grandchildren Breanna, Britney, Haiden, Zephon, and her great-grandson Keegan, who were her everything. Her sister and best friend Hylene and her husband Ronnie, as well as many cousins and friends, many of whom she loved to spend time with at Hvlene's house In Hartland VT surrounded by family and friends.
Besides her family. Kathy's great love was bulldogs of which she had many in her life. Dozer who she leaves behind, who was her constant companion and could always be found by her side. Robert Franklin was a great friend to her and Dozer as he joking called himself the dog walker.
Kathy graduated from the University of Maine with an Associate's Degree in Nursing. She was very proud to be a nurse and it was a perfect fit for Kathy, as she always loved helping people. She worked for many years as an Operating Room Nurse at the old Burbank Hospital. She would later find her way into working in Oral Surgery at Central Mass Oral Surgery where she worked for many years until she retired. She loved the doctors and coworkers at CMOS and made many lifelong friendships with her coworkers.
Kathy was a beacon of love for her family, always there to help. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her family and took great pride in their successes and would be the first person there in times of need. She will be greatly missed by friends and family alike; she had an infectious laugh that could brighten any room and would always make time for anyone in need. She loved to travel, especially to any location involving a beach! She loved lighthouses and was her family's lighthouse, the light by which they could always find their way and her light will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
