LEOMINSTER- Keith Babineau, 57, of Leominster, died Tuesday, February 16, in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital, after an illness.
Mr. Babineau was born April 6, 1958, son of the late Edward and Rita Babineau and lived most of his life in Leominster all his life and graduated from Leominster High School. He worked several years at Health Alliance Hospital and more recently worked as a mechanic at Paul LeBlanc Auto in Leominster. He had a love for animals and enjoyed volunteering at the Pat Brody Shelter for Cats. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the beach, especially Hampton and Old Orchard. Keith had a love of cars and enjoyed working on them. He also enjoyed watching football and baseball.
He leaves his wife of 26 years, Starr (Little) Babineau; one son, Craig Dionne and his wife, Christal of Littleton; two daughters, Alisha Wood and her husband, Scott, and Kayla Downey and her husband, Andrew, all of Leominster; three grandchildren, Carter, Langston, and Emma; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers, David, Ronald, and Albert Zilli.
Calling hours are Friday, February 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.in Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster.
The funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 20, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Leo’s Church 128 Main St., Leominster. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
