KENNETH P. "KB" BROWN ATHOL- Kenneth P. "KB" Brown, 42, of 234 Riverbend Street, died Saturday at home. He leaves his mother, Patricia A. (Batutis) Brown, with whom he lived; a sister, Kathleen Marcotte and her husband Robert of Athol; a brother, Kevin Brown his wife LeeAnn, of Athol; a niece, Jessica Marcotte, and two nephews, Corey Brown and Jeremy Brown; and several aunts and uncles. He was born in Athol, Feb 24, 1959, son of Robert A. Brown, and was a lifelong resident of town. He graduated from Athol High School with the class of 1979. Mr. Brown worked as a motorcycle mechanic at All Sports Cycle in Orange. He also was an electrician's helper and did carpentry work. He was a member of the Tully City Council Club, the Franco-American Naturalization Club, the American-Lithuanian Naturalization Club, the Petersham Gun club and the North American Hunting Club. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed hunting, including tracking, trapping and bow and arrow, deep sea fishing. He also enjoyed motorcycling and sunning at the beach. He was enthusiastic about coordinating outdoor cooking. He especially loved his dogs, Sampson and Goliath. The Memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002 at 11 a.m. in the J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main Street. Rev. James B. Callahan, associate pastor of Our Lady Immaculate Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. $(document).ready(function(){ });
