Kenneth M. Hamilton

WESTFORD - Kenneth M. Hamilton, 63 of 8D Old Colony Drive, Westford, died Monday, April 11, 2011 in the Emerson Hospital, Concord, MA. He was born in Cambridge, on October 13, 1947, the son of the late George and the late Verna (Murray) Hamilton.            Ken grew up in Belmont and graduated from Belmont High School. He received a degree in criminology from Anna Maria College.            He was a Police Officer in Belmont for thirty years, retiring in 2008. He was a member of Nabnasette Country Club.  He leaves his wife of twelve years, Donna M. (Wisenski) Hamilton; one daughter, Lisa Duffy of Kingston, MA; one son, Christopher Hamilton and his wife Tina of Acton, MA; one sister, Gayle Francis and her husband Thomas of Hudson, MA; step mother, Marjorie Hamilton of Sudbury, MA; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in his memory to the World Society for the Protection of Animals, 89 South St., Suite 201, Boston, MA 02111.
