Kevin G. Maillet

Kevin Gerard Maillet, age 61, of Santa Fe, NM died Sunday, July 19, 2015. He is the son of the late Gerard Joseph and the late Teresa Marie Maillet. He grew up in Athol and was a graduated of Athol- Royalston Regional High School. He was employed by Digital Equipment Corp. He then owned Rainbow Carpet Cleaning Service in Florida and later worked for ServPro across the country. He spent his last 9 years in Santa Fe pursuing his passion as an artist. He loved art, the outdoors and nature. He is survived by; one son, Kevin Gerard Maillet II and his fiancé Ann and two grandchildren, Sabastian and Scarlet of New Bedford; one sister, Cheryl Moriarty and her husband Ed of CA; one brother, Rene Maillet of Athol; one brother-in-law, Ronald Dupuis of Phillipston; nephews, Jeremy Duhaime and his fiancé Veronica of Athol and Ryan Maillet of NC, Michael Dupuis and his wife Shawna of FL, Jamie Dupuis and his wife Rachel of HI and Matthew Moriarty and his wife Theresa; one great nephew Travis and many cousins and friends he met along his travels. He was predeceased by his parents Teresa Maillet and Gerard Joseph Maillet, a brother Carlton Maillet, a sister Lisa Dupuis. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th at 11AM at Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol, MA with Fr. Edwin Montana officiating.
