KIM MAUREEN (VOSSLER) GRANT ATHOL-Kim Maureen (Vossler) Grant, 39, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at her home, of complications due to insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. Kim was born in Santa Barbara, California, along with her twin sister, Karin, on April 2, 1963. She grew up in small town Preble, New York, on a dairy farm, with her parents and four sisters and one brother, until the age of 13. Her family also raised St. Bernard dogs. Her family then sold the dairy farm and moved to Morrisville, Vermont, where Kim graduated from People's Academy in 1981. Kim also worked at Pebble Beach Golf and Resort in California, and the Silverado Veterinary Hospital and Boarding Center in Napa, California. Kim loved cooking, her pets (Zorro, her Great Dane, and Stink, her cat); hiking, bicycling, soft music, swimming, planting flowers, candles, dragonflies, bumblebees, and snow. Kim met and lived with Bob Cole in Brattleboro, VT, and they moved to Athol in October of 2001. Please give to the Diabetic Foundation in your area in Kim's name; they need your help! Donations are suggested to American Diabetes Association, Massachusetts-Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 31160, Hartford, CT, 06150-1160.
