Kuniko Belansky

It is with a profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kuniko Belansky known as “Cookie” age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sept 19, 2023 at Keystone Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Leominster. She was born in Tokyo Japan on June 23, 1937. 

Her life was so beautifully lived and deserves to be beautifully remembered.  She truly lived life through simple pleasures;  shopping, country line dancing, water aerobics and she was a major “foodie”. During her younger years she traveled across Asia as a singer in an all-female country band.

She is survived by her 3 children; John and Paul Belansky of Leominster and Noelle Varney of Phillipston. A son in-law Jeremy Varney and daughter in-law Laurie Belansky and 4 step grandchildren Cassidy, Parker, Liam and Teaghan.
Kuniko will forever be in our hearts.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Sept 28, 2023 at 12:00 pm St Cecilia Cemetery, 99 St Cecilia St, Leominster MA 01453.
