Larry K. Sawin

ATHOL - Larry K. Sawin, of 143 Highland St., Athol, left this earth peacefully at home after battling cancer. He was born on June 27, 1953 in Athol, the son of the late Fred O. Sawin. He is survived by his mother Marion (Martin) Sawin of Athol. He leaves behind his wife and best friend of 30 years Sharon (Reed) Sawin of Athol; a daughter Cicely Sawin of Athol; a brother Randy Sawin and his wife Susan of Athol, a sister Linda Sawin of Athol; his grandson and his joy in life Johnny Emery of Athol; several nieces and nephews and his dear friend Michael Christiansen of Athol. He was an avid motorcyclist who loved his Harley Davidson and riding in all types of weather. He also enjoyed Nascar Racing, loved music, camping and spending time with his family. He was a machinist for 35 years with the L.S. Starrett Company and most recently employed at Niagara Cutter. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Fiske Funeral Home, 1356 Main Street, Athol. There are no calling hours.
