Larry William Smith

Larry W Smith, age 66, of Athol died Sunday, June 25, 2017 after a courageous battle with leukemia, with his family by his side. Larry was born on September 13, 1950 in Fitchburg, MA. He is the son of Allen W and the late Dorothy G. (Gibbs) Smith. Larry served five years in the Air Force. He was stationed in Japan & Korea during the Vietnam war. Larry had various jobs, he was a motorcycle enthusiast, he especially enjoyed Harley Davidsons. He is survived by; his father Allen W Smith; his son Jacob of Worcester; his loving companion Annie Wilbur; brother, Brian Smith; and sister Patricia Cochran of Longmont, Co. as well as several nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by three brothers; Wayne, Ronald, & Curtis Smith. Private burial services will be held at a later date in the Massachusetts Veteran’s Cemetery in Winchendon, Ma.
