Laura Holm

Laura Holm died peacefully on Dec 16th 2024 at Applewood Home For Elders.

Born in St Norbit Canada on Oct 19th 1932. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Caissie and Laudia (LeBlanc) Caissie.

Laura came to the United States in her 20s where she resided in Fitchburg MA and then moved to Gardner MA where she lived for many years. 

Laura had a strong love for Jesus and her Catholic faith. She enjoyed playing Bingo and Keno. She loved bluegrass, rock and roll, and country music, with Elvis being at the top of her list. She enjoyed a good Canadian boil dinner and Duguay's Fried Chicken! Taking rides with her children and visiting with all her family was always special to her. As we write this obituary it comes to our hearts that she would want you all to know she loves you! Her favorite words most recently were, wishing you" Happy Hour, Comfort and Joy"

Laura is survived by her 8 children, Samuel Caissie, Anna Robichaud, Debra Bousquet and her husband Leo, Linda Forgues and her husband Mike, Jason Holm and his wife Kris, Arron Holm and Nancy, Janice Holm and fiance Mike, Sharon Kiosses and her husband Thomas. 8 Grandchildren, Nicholas Robichaud, Justine Rice, Morgan Bousquet, Matthew Martinez, Lauren Albaum, Kyle Holm, Matthew Holm and Erika Holm. 10 Great Grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Casey, Myles ,Mason, Austin, Lillian, Carter, Jonah, and Micah.

She also was Survived by her brother Edmond Caissie and 7 Sisters, Elise McDermott, Florida LeBlanc, Marguerite Pitre, Rosella Doiron, Anne Lozeau, Diana Pellerin, and Venolia Dubey. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald B Holm and 2 sisters, Yvonne Siart and Anise Caissie. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Dec 29th from 12:00pm - 3:00pm at the Gardner American Legion, 22 Elm Street Gardner, MA
