ORANGE - Laurie E (Soucie) Lawton, 50 of 15 Oaklawn Ave., Orange, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006, in the Athol Memorial Hospital, Athol. She was born in Flushing, NY, on August 3, 1956, the daughter of Edmund and Lorraine (Newton) Soucie. Laurie enjoyed collecting dolls, rubber stamping and was devoted to her three dogs. She leaves her husband of thirteen years, Elwyn Lawton; two daughters, Mellissa Cucchi and her husband Timothy of Athol, Miranda Hinkley and her husband Scott of Athol; her mother Lorraine Soucie of Orange; two sisters, Lisa Haracz of Westfield, MA, Lenore Mundell of Orange, MA;one brother, Edmund Soucie of Long Island, NY; one step son, Mark Lawton of Dedham, MA;two step daughters, Karen Lawton of Worcester; Robin Brockney of Worcester; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Edmund Soucie and by a step daughter, Pauline LaFlame. Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours.
