Lawrence G. Carpenter

GARDNER- Lawrence “Larry” Gerard Carpenter, 62, of Gardner, died Friday July 3, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield. He was born February 21, 1958, son of Alvie E. Carpenter and Marilyn A. (Cabana) Preston. Larry grew up in the Fitchburg area. He was part of the United States Army in 1977. Larry is survived by two brothers, Gary Carpenter and his fiancé Yvonne Breen of Gardner and Jason Carpenter of Fitchburg; one sister, Hollie Champagne and her husband Paul of Phillipston; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father. A graveside service at Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, Winchendon will be scheduled at a later date.
