GARDNER - Lawrence A. Larondeau, Sr., 84 of 98 Douglas Road, Gardner, died Sunday, March 8, 2020 in the Henry Heywood Hospital.
He was born in Gardner, on March 27, 1935, the son of the late Charles A. Larondeau and Lillian I. (Long) Larondeau.
He was a life-long resident of Gardner. Larry was a graduate from Gardner High School with the class of 1954. Mr. Larondeau was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed at Henry Heywood Hospital for 44 years in the Environmental Services Department. He also worked at Beauregard Package Store and for many local people doing yard work.
Larry was a lifelong member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Gardner. He enjoyed candlepin bowling, was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed Civil War history.
He leaves two sons, Charles V. Larondeau and Lawrence A. Larondeau, Jr. both of Gardner.
He was predeceased by his wife, Linnea Elsa (Dahl) Larondeau; and by a half-brother, Ernest Newcomb, Sr.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Bethany Baptist Church, 72 Ryan St., Gardner. Burial will follow in the Gardner Wildwood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner.
