ORANGE - Leighann Deveneau-Martinelli, 52, of Orange passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at home.
She was born May 23, 1963 in Greenfield, the daughter of Elwin F and Gladys L (Chaplin) Deveneau Sr.
Leighann grew up in Athol and Orange and graduated from Athol High School with the class of 1981. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Emmanuel College in 2013 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
She worked at the Treasurer for the Town of Orange for several years and recently was the Treasurer and Town Collector for the town of Ware.
Leighann enjoyed camping, skiing, entertaining with family and friends and walks with her dogs Utah and Cora.
She is survived by her husband of 9 years, Todd Martinelli; one daughter, Madison L. Corcoran of Orange; her parents, Elwin and Gladys Deveneau, Sr.; one sister, : Cindy-Lu Fitch of Southboro; three brothers, Elwin "Buddy" F. Deveneau, Jr. of Athol, Curtis A. Deveneau and his wife Laurie of Royalston, Craig T. Deveneau of Athol; nieces and nephews, Courtney Fitch, Hillary Fitch, Cameron Fitch, Ashley Deveneau, Kelly Vaillencourt, Austin Deveneau, William Deveneau, Christopher Deveneau, Chelsea Deveneau, Shayla Deveneau; two great aunts, Geraldine Augustine of Swanzey, NH, Edna Richardson of Orange; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange. Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA.
