Lena Natale

Lena M. (Calvi) Natale, 92, formerly of Bridge St., Baldwinville, died Tuesday evening in the Leo P. LaChance Center in Gardner after a long illness. She was born in Athol June 8, 1911, daughter of the late Felix and Aureglia (Vaccarezza) Calvi. Mrs. Natale was a chef at the New York State Hospital for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church in Baldwinvlle. Her husband, James Natale died several years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Norma T. Cutting of Townsend, Tennessee; two sisters, Norma Mattala of Athol and Mayme Marsico of Florida; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A grandson, John D. Cutting of Cambridge died in 1989. A Memorial Mass followed by burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol will be celebrated next spring at a date and time to be announced. There are no visiting hours.
