Euvrard Date of Death: September 13, 2014 ____________________________________________________________________________ ATHOL - Leon H. Euvrard, age 71, of Athol died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at home.   Mr. Euvrard was born February 19, 1943 in Athol, the son of the late Albert and the late Lena (Allio) Euvrard.      He grew up in Athol and was educated in Athol.   Mr. Euvrard worked for the L.S. Starrett Company for 46 years.  He was a member of the Athol-Orange Lodge of Elks.   Leon enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, softball and was an avid New England sports fan especially the Boston Bruins, New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.   He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gloria J.(Forte) Euvrard; three daughters, Lynne Alio and her husband Santiago of Spain, Jeanne LaFleur and her husband Arthur of Peterborough, NH, Dawne Euvrard of Orange; three sons, Rev. Scott Euvrard of Amesbury, MA, Craig Euvrard of Peterborough, NH, Mark Euvrard of Athol; four sisters, Evelyn Kimbro and her husband Rex of Springfield, VA, Blanche Sheffield and her companion Richard Lavigne of Athol, Yvonne Bassett and her husband Paul of Ashburnham, MA, Peggy-Lee Mullen and her companion Gary Flood of Wheelwright, five brothers, Emile Euvrard and his companion Karen Doubleday of Orange, Albert Euvrard and his wife Dolly of Athol, Richard Euvrard and his wife Marion of Athol, Robert Euvrard and his wife Marilyn of Athol, Peter Euvrard and his wife Deanna of Athol; thirteen grandchildren, Jessica Gungui and her husband Maurizio, Santiago Alio, Daniel Alio, Alejandro Alio, Stacie Corliss, Natalie LaFleur, Lena LaFleur, Louis LaFleur, Brielle Euvrard, Tyler Finley, Jaymes Finley, Chalia Brewington-Euvrard,  Deijah Brewington-Euvrard; two great grandchildren, Trey Henry Corliss, Scarlet Euvrard; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Franklin Euvrard. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol, MA with Rev. Scott Euvrard officiating.  Burial will be private at a later date. Calling hours will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA.
