Leon A. Mazialnik

Leon A. Mazialnik, 91, of 37 Pine St., Athol, died Friday in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston after a brief illness. He was born in Bridgeport, CT, October 7, 1911, son of the late Mykolas and Amelis (Tamulunas) Mazialnik and lived here many years. Mr. Mazialnik was employed with the Erving Paper Mill prior to his retirement. He was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Athol and enjoyed traveling, baseball and wrestling. He is survived by one sister, Anna Salahna of Athol; one sister-in-law, Helen Mazialnik of Athol and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Athol, Tuesday, August 12 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 101 Main St., Athol, at 10AM. Burial will be in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 - 9:30 AM Tuesday.
