FT. MEYERS, FL - Leslie Jean (Jollymore) Luth, 68 of Ft. Meyers, Florida and formerly of Reading and Leominster passed away June 10, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Phillipston, MA.
Leslie was born in Woburn on January 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Leslie and the late Charlotte (Brown) Jollymore. She was raised and educated in Reading and a graduate of Reading High School with the class of 1960. She resided in Leominster from 1978 to 2001 until moving with her husband, William, to Fort Meyers, Florida in 2001.
Mrs. Luth was employed for many years locally as an administrative assistant.. More recently, she worked as an administrative assistant for the Lee County Clerk of Courts in Fort Meyers, Florida for five years until she moved home to be closer to her family.
She leaves one daughter: Victoria Chartier and her husband Ed of Phillipston, MA and four sons: Gary Marshall and his wife Lizann of New Britain, CT, Steven Marshall and his wife Ann of Phillipston, MA, David Luth and his wife Sarah of Clinton, MA, Michael Luth and his wife Jennifer of Lunenburg, MA; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Leslie was an amazing woman who had great strength and class. She passed away surrounded by her children who loved her immensely.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Luth, in 2008, and by her brother, Donald Jollymore.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 5 - 7 at the FISKE FUNERAL HOME, 1356 MAIN STREET, ATHOL. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home following the calling hours. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham, will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Gardner Visiting Nursing Association, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440.
