LEOMINSTER- Lillian B. Cruz, 45, of Leominster, died Monday, January 11, in Leominster after an illness.
Lily was born April 22, 1970, in New York City, daughter of the late Herbert and Luz (Mercado) Cruz and has lived in Leominster for many years. She was a phlebotomist for 14 years at Leominster hospital before her illness. Lily was a loving mother. She will be greatly missed by her children who were the center of her world. She enjoyed going to Maine, crocheting and often donated her crafts to the maternity unit for newborns.
Lily will be greatly missed by her children, Jordan, Kayli and Cheyenne Preville; their father, Keith Preville of Leominster; her mother and father in law, Doreen (Candiello) Preville Tucker and David Tucker of Leominster; two brothers, Jose Cruz and his girlfriend, Cindy Vassar of Clinton, and Andre Cruz and his wife, Anna of Leominster; sister in law, Ashley Tucker and her fiancé, John Ciccone, IV, of Leominster; brother in law, Scott Preville of Leominster; father in law, Steve Preville of Marlborough; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A calling hour will be held Friday, January 15, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. The funeral will follow at 12:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Leominster.
