Lillie M (Anderson) Erickson

HUBBARDSTON- Lillie M. (Anderson) Erickson, 105, of Hubbardston, passed away peacefully Friday, July 24, at Wachusett Manor in Gardner. Lillie was born August 31, 1914, in Winchendon, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Kinnuhen) Anderson. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, reading, and family gatherings. Wonderful aromas from her cooking and baking always filled the home, especially when she made her Finnish coffee bread. Lillie will be remembered as a wonderful mother and loving grandmother with a witty personality. She married her husband, Leo O. Erickson, in November of 1941 who preceded her in death in 1986. She was also predeceased by her son, Alan L. Erickson, in 2015, and her brothers, Eino, Walter, and Andrew Anderson. She leaves two daughters, Joyce M. Erickson and Janet M. Van Wart, both of Hubbardston and one granddaughter, Lauren, of Lowell. Funeral services are private with the assistance of Mack Family Funeral Homes, Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Chapel, 105 Central St., Gardner.
