Linda G. Cyganiewicz

ATHOL - Linda G. (Morandi) Cyganiewicz, 88 of 83 Sanders Street, Athol, died Wednesday, July 05, 2006, in the Heywood Hospital, Gardner. She was born in North Adams, MA, on April 27, 1918, the daughter of the late Angelo and the late Mary (Emanuelli) Morandi. Linda grew up in Athol and was educated in Athol. Mrs. Cyganiewicz was employed at the Union Twist Drill Company and the J.F. McElwain Shoe Company for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church, she enjoyed her family, cooking and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves one daughter, Carole A. Labshere of Athol; one sister, Esther Hoxie of Athol; two brothers, Edward Morandi and Richard Morandi both of Athol; three grandchildren, Michael Labshere, Jr. of Orange, Lloyd Moulton of Athol, Sheila Moulton of Worcester; two great grandchildren, Kelly Moulton, Shannyn Moulton and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon Cyganiewicz; by her daughter, Janet L. Moulton, and by two brothers, Aldo Morandi and Ernest Morandi. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at 10:00 am in the J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Athol. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol.
