Linda Ann (O'Leary)Greeno

GARDNER - Linda Ann (O'Leary) Greeno,72, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 at home in Gardner, MA. surrounded by her family.

She was born in Gardner on May 29, 1950, daughter of the late Francis E. O'Leary and Anna M. (Cosentino) O'Leary.

Linda graduated from Gardner High School with the class of 1968.  She graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College with an Associates Degree of Science.

Linda worked for the Gardner School System for 22 years at Waterford Street School.

She loved to travel, attend Red Sox games of which she followed to several ballparks across the country, trips to the casino, decorating her home for every season, trips to Disney, traveling all of Rt. 66 and was very patriotic. She especially loved spending time with her grandson. 

She leaves her husband of 48 years, Stephen R. Greeno; two daughters, Amy Greeno and Christina Grieves and her husband Joshua Grieves; her sister, Margaret Desilets; her grandson, Ethan Grieves; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Robert O'Leary.

Linda’s family would like to extend their gratitude to Care Central VNA and Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion given to Linda. 

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 23 from the Mack Funeral Home, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440 at 9:00 a.m. with a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Annunciation Parish - Holy Spirit Church, 50 Lovewell St., Gardner.  Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery, Lancaster Street Leominster, MA.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m.in the Mack Family Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations in Linda's memory be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute - Pancreatic Cancer Research,450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215 or to Mass General Hospital - Pancreatic Cancer Research 55 Fruit St., Boston, MA 02114, or the Care Central VNA Hospice, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440
