Linda LaRoche (August 2, 1943 - May 1, 2024)
Linda LaRoche, a beloved member of the Gardner community, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on August 2, 1943, Linda's life was characterized by her unwavering devotion to her family, her commitment to serving others, and her deep faith.
Linda dedicated over four decades of her life to caring for others as a nurse at Heywood Hospital. Her compassionate nature and exceptional skill earned her the respect and admiration of both colleagues and patients. Beyond her professional life, Linda was an active member of Chair City Church, where she found solace in her faith and community. She loved all her peeps and cherished every moment with them.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Richard LaRoche, her sister, Corrine Gariepy, her children Chris LaRoche and Katie LaRoche, her grandsons Jason Abbott and Benjamin Clarkson, along with his wife Allison Clarkson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda's love, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished for years to come.
In her leisure time, Linda found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished moments spent by the beach, where the sound of crashing waves brought her serenity and peace. Linda delighted in vacationing in Maine and Florida, where she created cherished memories with loved ones. She had a fondness for flowers, finding beauty and solace in their vibrant colors and delicate petals.
Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Louratta Richards, her father, Andrew Erickson, and her sisters, Shirley Boucher, June Hermanson, and Janet Leger.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Mack Funeral Home in Gardner. A funeral service to celebrate Linda's life will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 10:00 am at Chair City Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to HOPE Armenia Ministries in Linda's memory.
Linda LaRoche's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she may be gone from our sight, her love and legacy will endure forever. May she rest in peace.
