Leominster - Lionel C. Sicard, 78 of 69 Sylvan Ave., leominster, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006, in the leominster Hospital, leominster.
He was born in leominster, on May 20, 1928, the son of the late Joseph and the late Adrienne (Gamache) Sicard. He was raised in leominster and was educated in leominster.
Mr. Sicard was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps he was a member of the antitank gun crewman and received the World War II Victory Medal.
Mr. Sicard was employed at Borden Chemical Company in leominster for over thirty-five years.
He was a member of the Franco American Club in leominster. He was a long time patron of Terry's Place.
He leaves several nieces and nephews including Nancy A. Pawelski and her companion Melvin Dawson with whom he resided with; and several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers, John Sicard, Paul Sicard, Conrad Sicard and by two sisters, Claire Ashe and Edna Cardinal.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2006, at 8:00 pm in the M.A. simard & Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, leominster. Burial will be at a later date.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, December 30, 2006, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the M.A. simard & Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, leominster, MA.
