Lois L. Young

LEOMINSTER - Lois L. (Williams) Young, 85 of 104 Stuart Ave., Leominster, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in the Health Alliance Leominster Campus, Leominster. She was born in Sullivan, ME, on October 5, 1930, the daughter of the late Harold Williams and the late Ella (Havey) Williams. Lois was a foster mother to 49 children spanning many years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers. She will be remembered for her loving care given to so many, and volunteering, delivering meals to the elderly and with the March of Dimes. She leaves behind her niece and caregiver, Patricia Plette and her husband, Archie of Leominster; children, Jay, Victor, Winston, Bobby, Wanda, Carol, and Donna; six grandchildren, Mandy, Josh, Jessica, Brianne, Alan and Nathaniel; one nephew, Michael Williams of FL; along with many other foster children, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Montgomery, Chandler, and Robert Williams. A calling hour will be held at Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm in the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, Leominster. Burial will be at a later date at St. Cecilia’s Cemetery
