LEOMINSTER - Lraine Jean (Desharnais) Ricker 74 of 92 Grand St.Leominster, died Friday, August 31,2007, in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital after being striken ill.
She was born September 23,1932 in Leominster the daughter of the late Rudolph and Marianne (Desilets) Desharnais and was a lifelong Leominster resident.
She leaves her husband of thirty years,Ervin Ricker of Leominster; five sons,John W.Amirault, James J.Amirault, Gary J.Amirault all of Leominster, Mark J.Amirault of Gardner and David J.Amirault of Mobley Missouri; one step-daughter,Joyce Ricker of Leominster; three sisters,Irene Osborne, Claire Johnson and Joanne Deshaies all of Leominster; eleven grandchildren Jason J. Amirault and Eric L. Maynard both of Fitchburg, Joyce E.MacAllister, James J. Amirault, Olivia J.Amirault, Charles P.Amirault and Luke J.Amirault all of Leominster, Benjamin Amirault, Abigail Amirault,Matthew Amirault and Elizabeth Amirault all of Mobley Missouri; one great-granddaughter, Michala Amirault of Fitchburg; nephews and nieces.
A brother Norman Desharnais of Leominster died in 2004 and a sister Georgette Ouelette also predeceased her.
Mrs. Ricker worked as a Health Care Provider for many years for local companies. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church in Leominster.
She enjoyed reading and flowers and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 5,2007, at 11a.mm. in St. Cecilia's Cemetery Leominster.
