GARDNER - Loretta M. (Maillet) Agnelli, 88 of 109 Ken Drive, Gardner, died on Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
Loretta was born in Gardner on August 23, 1922, the daughter of the late Daniel and the late Marguerite (Robichaud) Maillet.
She was raised and educated in Gardner and attended Holy Rosary School. Mrs. Agnelli was a former member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and a communicant of Holy Spirit Church. She was a member of the Order of St. Anne. Loretta enjoyed going to band concerts, trips to Maine and polka dancing.
She leaves her husband of nearly sixty years, John F. Agnelli; one daughter, Janet M. Therrien and her husband David of North Port, FL; one son, Francis J. Agnelli and his wife Lou-Ann of Waterboro, ME; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her three sisters, Yvonne Schaeffer, Stella Coulombe, Rita Maillet; and by four brothers, Rev. Ovila Maillet, Alderic Maillet, George Maillet and Arthur Maillet.
A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Spirit Church, 50 Lovewell St., Gardner. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Holy Spirit Church, 50 Lovewell Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
