Loretta R. Grudziecki

LEOMINSTER - Loretta R. (Bilodeau) Grudziecki, 92, of Leominster died Wednesday, January 19, 2011, in the Keystone Nursing Home, Leominster. Mrs. Grudziecki was born in Leominster on March 16, 1918 the daughter of Joseph and Laura (LaBonte) Bilodeau and grew up in Leominster. She attended the Leominster School System, and lived all of her life in Leominster. She is survived by her son Robert Grudziecki and his wife Donna of Leominster; grandson Nicholas, and granddaughters, Natasha and Noelle Grudziecki. She also leaves two sisters, Theresa Smith of Cape Cod and Ora Seger of New Jersey; as well as her godson, Larry Smith and his wife Christine and their children of Cape Cod; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent C. Grudziecki who died in 1970, by her daughter, Janice Stiff of Dothan, Alabama who died in 2007; by her long time friend, Joseph Bilotta who died in 2003; by her sister, Cecile Flanagan of Leominster; and by two brothers, Roland Bilodeau of Fitchburg and Wilfred Bilodeau of New Jersey. She was a former employee of Allen's Department Store in Leominster and a former sales manager for Kmart in Fitchburg. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 21, 2011, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Cecilia's Church - Restoration Fund, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster, MA 01453.
