Gardner — Lorraine M. (Gallant) Arsenault passed away on September 7, 2017 at UMass after a long illness with her family by her side.
She was born in Gardner on April 27, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Obeline (Richard) Gallant.
She worked at Simplex Time Recorder doing office work. She belonged to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She loved shopping, scrap-booking, playing bingo with her friends in the Boland Room and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She leaves eight children; six daughters, Patty and her husband, Rodney Paradis of Baldwinville, Joanne Theriault of Gardner, Gayle and her husband, Edward Miller of Phillipston, Karen and her husband, Bryan Thompson of Templeton, Tina Arsenault of Templeton, Tammy Arsenault of Gardner; two sons, Donald Arsenault of Gardner, Michael Arsenault of Templeton; one daughter-in-law, Ann Arsenault of Gardner; one sister, Stella Poirier of Mt. Carmel, Tennessee; twenty eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband, Francis (Poncho) Arsenault; three sons, Daniel (Cocoa) Arsenault, Thomas Arsenault and Timothy Arsenault; siblings, Normand Gallant, Doris Poirier, Donald Gallant and Wilfred Gallant.
There will be a celebration of life service with a luncheon on October 1, 2017 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the Acadien Social Club, 193 Parker Street, Gardner, MA.
