Lorraine (Robinson) Phillips

ATHOL - Lorraine B. (Robinson) Phillips, 60 of 29 Gibson Dr., Athol, died Monday, January 21, 2013 in the Heywood Hospital, Gardner. She was born in Albany, NY, on June 20, 1952, the daughter of the late Richard Robinson and the late Barbara (Berry) Lewis. Lorraine grew up in the Phiilipston and Athol area.  She worked at the former J. F. McElwain Shoe Company for 10 years.  She was a free spirit and enjoyed music, dancing and motorcycle riding. She leaves three sons: Travis Dobson of Fitchburg, MA, Timm Phillips of Turners Falls, Joshua Phillips of Greenfield; four sisters: Karen Robinson of Athol, Judy Nye of Athol, Barbara Choquette of KY, Kim Thompson of Royalston;  two brothers: Richard Robinson Jr. of Athol, Greg Lewis of TX; three grandchildren:  Ryan Dobson, Sean Dobson of Athol, Phoenix Kimball-Phillips of Turners Falls. She was predeceased by a daughter Tanya Phillips and by her brother Gene Robinson. A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday February 3, 2013 from 1:00 - 3:00pm at the Franco American Club, South Street, Athol.  No calling hours are scheduled.
