Lorraine T. (Tourigny) Gagnon, 93, died Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Sterling Village after an illness.
She was the wife of the late Roger Gagnon, who died in 1998.
She leaves two daughters, Denise Waite and her husband John of Leominster and Michele Dickerson and her husband Ronald of Brookline, NH; four granddaughters, Ashley, Kellie, Geena and Nicole; one brother William Tourigny of Leominster; one sister, Constance LeBouf of Milford, NH and several nieces and nephews.
She is also predeceased by a brother, Paul Tourigny and a sister Lucille Marino.
Lorraine was born in Leominster on November 4, 1927 a daughter of the late William and Yvonne (Cantin) Tourigny.
She was a longtime member of St. Cecilia's Church in Leominster. She grew up on French Hill. In high school she played volleyball and was a member of St. Jean's Drill Team. Lorriane enjoyed knitting, doing puzzles, playing bingo, doing arts and crafts. She loved to travel and was known to be a great cook. She was blessed with wonderful family members and friends throughout her whole life. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her funeral will be held from the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, Leominster, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 with a mass of christian burial at 10:00 a.m in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leomisnter, MA
Her burial will be at a later date in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Leominster, MA
Calling Hours will be in the funeral home on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 5:00- 8:00 p.m.
