Louise Anna (Savoie) Boucher, 76, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her
family on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
Born on October 24,1945 in Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter
of Emilie and Flora (Doucet) Savoie. She grew up in St. Louis, New Brunswick and
attended New Brunswick schools. She was a faithful member of St. Cecilia's church and
was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of St. Cecilia’s Parish. She was also a member
of the poutine factory of St. Cecilia.
She leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Hector Boucher. She also leaves behind 2
sons, Darren Boucher and his wife Kristina of Winchendon and Dean Boucher and his
wife Melissa of Lancaster. Along with four grandchildren Koryn Boucher, Gavin Boucher,
Dominique Boucher, and Kristina Coleman as well as one great granddaughter Aubree
Harlow. She also leaves behind her brother Donald Savoie and his fiancé Germaine
Gallant of St. Louis, New Brunswick, Canada and her two nephews Denis and Julien
Savioe.
Louise's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching the
Hallmark channel, sewing, painting, setting up her Christmas village, and genealogy.
Also she loved attending family gatherings and traveling to Canada to visit her family
and spend time at her cottage. She was very proud of her Acadian heritage.
There will be a funeral mass on Friday July 22, 2022 at 11 am at St. Cecilia's Parish,
Mechanic St. Leominster, MA. Burial to follow mass at St. Cecilia's Cemetery.
