Louise E. (Eberle) Smith

Leominster- Louise E. (Eberle) Smith, 88, of Leominster passed away peacefully on Friday August 2nd, 2013 in the Keystone Center Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse, NY on May 17th, 1925, the daughter of the late Delbert and Elizabeth Lacombe. Louise grew up in New York and moved to Leominster in 1972. She worked for several local plastic factories, retiring in 1983. She was active her whole life in the Salvation Army, enjoyed knitting and playing bingo in the area. Louise loved to do word puzzles and would often look forward to spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who came into contact with her. Louise leaves behind one son; Richard Smith of Leominster, two daughters; Marlene Santonoceto and her husband John of Leominster, and Lorraine Dingman and her husband David of Fulton, NY, One daughter in-law Jeannie Gaudet of Lunenburg, eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband; Leonard Smith (1965), daughter; Dorothy Smith (2012), two brothers and one sister. The family would like to thank the staff at the Keystone Center for the love and care that they gave Louise during her stay with them.
