Lucille B. Daly

Gardner- Lucille B. (LaRoche) Daly, 83, formerly of 7 Chatham Street, died Sunday, April 26, 2009 in the Baldwinville Nursing Home following an illness. She was born in Gardner on September 10, 1925 the daughter of the late Adelard and Eva (Beloin) LaRoche. Mrs. Daly was a graduate of Gardner High School, Class of 1944. She worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at the Chair City Kindergarten retiring in 1991. She was a communicant of Holy Sprit Church. Her hobbies were flea marketing, antiquing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John A. Daly, Sr. who died on March 2, 1980. She leaves her son, John A. Daly, Jr. of Gardner; her two daughters, Mary Lu Marien of Westminster, and Debora A. Walker of East Templeton; 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, two brothers, Romeo LaRoche and Roland LaRoche, and a sister, Loretta Stran. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in the Mack Funeral Home, 91 Vernon Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 28 from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. The family request donations are made in Mrs. Daly's memory to the Baldwinville Nursing Home Activity Fund, P.O.
