Lucy (Mercier) Brisson

 EXETER NH------Lucy (Mercier) Brisson 92;of Exeter New Hampshire died Tuesday evening April 17,2012 in Langdon Place of Exeter after an illness.  She was born on March 2,1920 in Leominster the daughter of the late Joseph Mercier and Amanda (Legault) Mercier.  She leaves two sons; Russell Brisson and his wife Charlotte of Laurenceville Georgia and Rock Brisson and his wife Mary of Chester New Hampshire, two daughters Yvonne Lucey and her husband Michael of Springfield MA, and Roslyn Popielski and her husband William of Virginia, twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.  Her loving husband of  52 years, Raymond L. Brisson predeceased her in 1993, two sons Raymond L. Brisson Jr, and Ralph Brisson, and several brothers and sisters also predeceased her.  Lucy was a communicant of St Cecilia’s Church in Leominster. She worked as a Dental Hygienist for Dr Delaney and was a Fashion Consultant for Grover-Cronin in Waltham. She enjoyed swimming, sewing, cooking and cribbage. She was a wonderful mom and caring wife for over 50 years.  Lucy’s funeral will be held on Saturday April 21,2012 from Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster with a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St Cecilia’s Church 180 Mechanic St Leominster. Burial will follow in St Bernard’s Cemetery Fitchburg.  Calling hours in the funeral home are Saturday morning April 21, 2012 from 8 AM – 9:30 AM.  Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster directed arrangements.     $(document).ready(function(){ });
