WESTMINSTER - Lynne M. (Lashua) Cochran, 84 of 177 North Common Road, Westminster, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
She was born in Ashburnham, on August 2, 1932, the daughter of the late Clarence and the late Alice (Ayotte) Lashua.
Lynne grew up in Ashburnham and lived in Gardner for many years.
She was a member of the Higher Ground Ministries, where she enjoyed greeting at the door with her big smiles and hugs. She enjoyed mini-golf, bingo, keeping up with family and friends on Facebook, walking and spending time with her family.
She leaves five daughters, Susan Webb and her husband Norman of Gardner, Brenda Cochran and her significant other Rick Jalbert of Gardner, Diane Kwok and her husband Peter of Orlando, FL, Lynne Silvas and her husband Ric of WA, Carolee Arsenault and her husband Daniel of Westminster; two sons, Richard M. Cochran,Jr. and his wife Gerri of Hubbarston, Wayne Cochran and his significant other Paula Abare of Winchendon; one sister, Phyllis Amadon of PA; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
She was pedeceased by her husband, Richard M. Cochran, by two sisters, Lois Sargent, Leone Gagne and by one brother, Charles Lashua and by her grandson Leon Austin.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Higher Ground Ministries 186 Central St., Gardner on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 495 Old Connecticut Path, Suite 220, Framingham, MA 01701.
