M. Baltrucki

GARDNER - Genevieve M. Baltrucki, 88 of 19 Wright Street, Gardner, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 in the Baldwinville Nursing Home. She was born in Gardner, on September 30, 1918, the daughter of the late Francis and the late Jadwiga (Mielnicki) Baltrucki. She grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School in 1936. Ms. Baltrucki was the executive secretary for the president of the former First Safety Fund National Bank for many years, she retired in 1980. She was a communicant of St. Joseph´s Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality of the church. She was a former member of the St. Cecilia´s Choir at the church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and spending time with her loving family. She leaves a nephew, James Baltrucki of Charlotte, NC. She was predeceased by three brothers, Dr. Edmund Baltrucki, Dr. Henry Baltrucki and Rev. Leon Baltrucki. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 10:00 am in St. Joseph´s Church, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner. Burial will follow in St. John´s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Poliks Funeral Home 431 Pleasant St., Gardner. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Joseph´s Church, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner, MA 01440.
