Marcia J. (Pralinsky) Carey

ATHOL - Marcia (Pralinsky) Carey, 75, died suddenly, January 25, 2017 in Montague. She was born in Athol, the daughter of the late Paul J. Pralinsky and Rhea (Tessier) Pralinsky and the wife of the late David Carey. Marcia is a graduate of Athol High School and Fitchburg State College. She was a teacher of mathematics and science and taught in Woburn and at Athol Regional High School for several years. She was an excellent teacher and was loved and appreciated by her many students throughout these years. She is lovingly survived by her brother: Paul Pralinsky and his wife Barbara (Bennett) Pralinsky of Athol, her sister Eileen (Pralinsky) Donelan and her husband Frank Donelan of Northboro. Calling hours will be held at the Fiske, Murphy and Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange Mass., Monday, January 30, 2017, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.followed immediately with a small prayer service including the recitation of the Rosary.
