Margaret Frances Patriquin, affectionately known as Peggy, was a life-bringer in every sense of the word. Born on January 5, 1950, in Gardner, MA, she exuded a calm demeanor and love for life that was inspiring.
She relished simple pleasures and believed in the value of hard work and commitment, a testament to her years as a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Baldwinville Nursing Home before her retirement. Her unwavering dedication to her patients and her profession was a shining beacon of her compassionate spirit and resilience.
Peggy was a woman who loved the outdoors, but nothing surpassed the love she had for her family. Her heart was woven into the fabric of her loved ones' lives, providing a source of love, and encouragement. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Sr., who she married on November 12, 1983 and passed alongside her beloved husband of 41 years December 6th, 2024. Her love for the outdoors and family were the defining aspects of her life. Peggy spent the majority of her career taking care of others as a CNA….including sewing for her patients as needed. She loved to create quilts and crochet blankets, mittens, slippers, and embroidered items as a labor of love for family. She loved going to Moosehead Lake and enjoyed the quiet outdoors and beauty of the wildlife. She enjoyed Jumbo word puzzles and playing Scrabble and Rummy with her daughters in their youth.
Peggy is survived by her daughters Kathleen Gauthier and her husband Michael of Tennessee, Jennifer Murdock and her husband Edward of Winchendon, her son Gerald Patriquin Jr. and his wife Lauree of Athol, her daughter Brenda Letourneau of Grants Pass, Oregon.
