Margaret R. (Rosbury) LeBlanc

ASHBURNHAM – Margaret R. (Rosbury) LeBlanc, 81, of Ashburnham died Thursday, October 03, 2013 in The Highlands Nursing Home, Fitchburg. She was born on May 21, 1932 the daughter of Everett W. and Cecile M. (Delisle) Rosbury.  She grew up in Ashburnham and graduated from Cushing Academy in 1950.   Margaret was a life-long communicant of St. Denis Church.  She was employed as a telephone operator for New England Telephone for many years, she retired in 1983. She enjoyed crafts especially knitting and crocheting as well as tending to her flower garden.   She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. LeBlanc who passed in 2004. Margaret is survived by her uncle, Maurice Delisle of Leominster; two aunts, Denise Revell of Leominster; Jane Erickson of Leominster; a stepson, James LeBlanc of Ithaca, NY. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. in St. Denis Church 85 Main St., Ashburnham.  Burial will follow in St. Denis Cemetery, Ashburnham. A calling hour will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in the Mack Funeral Home, 91 Vernon St., Gardner. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Denis Church 85 Main St., Ashburnham, MA 01430 or to the Gordon Erickson Ambulance Fund 99 Central St., Ashburnham, MA 01430.
