Margarita Rivera

Shirley- Margarita Rivera of Shirley, MA, passed away peacefully on December 18th at Life Care Center of Leominster with her loving granddaughters by her side. She was born on June 8, 1922 in Mayaguez, PR, daughter of Bernabe Feliciano and Flora Ramos. She lived in Shirley for the last 40 plus years and is survived by her son, William Rivera of Shirley. In addition to her son she leaves four grandchildren; Diana Rosario and her husband James Rosario, Hector Andujar and his wife Carmen Andujar, Tara Rivera and Carlos Rivera along with 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Carlos Rivera in 1990, her heroic eldest son, Carlos Rivera Jr., KIA in Vietnam in 1970, and her beloved son Henry Rivera at age 36 in 1989. Margarita was a role model to her family, the essence of kindness, generosity, faith and patience. She was a woman of great faith and strength and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren through more than their fair share of tragedies, all the while with dignity and grace. Loved and cherished by her family and friends, they pray her precious soul be reunited with the ones she missed so much in life and wish her peace, love and happiness. Margarita has left her mark and we will think of her every day with loving thoughts and memories. You are much loved and sorely missed already. Such a gentle soul will easily slip through the gates of heaven. Soar happily with the angels, mama. There are no services at this time.
