Templeton-Margo E. (Leonard) Bombard, 78, died Monday, January 2, 2023, at her home after an illness.

She leaves two daughters, Jennifer Antilla and her husband Brian of Templeton, and Lisa Guy and her husband Joseph of Athol; three grandsons, two granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Mark Leonard of Templeton and Martin Leonard of E. Brookfield. 

She was born in Gardner, on June 22, 1944, a daughter of the late Duane and Margaret W. (Rod) Leonard. She was a graduate of Narragansett High School and a college in Florida with her associate's degree. Margo also served in the US Marine Corps. 

She worked for the Miami Herald as a Composition Manager. She was a very political person. She was an avid Ten Pin Bowler and had won several trophies. She enjoyed going to Cape Cod and spending time at the Ocean. She was an accomplished author, having the book The Fairy Tree published. 

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Mack Funeral Home, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
